Statement of Faith

There is one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. These are equal in every divine perfection and execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption. John 10:30; Colossians 1:15,16

The Bible

The Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired, without error and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  It is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. 2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:20,21

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son.  We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings.  We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and intercession for His people.       John 1:18; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Corinthians 15:12; Romans 8:34

Christ's Mission

God gave His only Son to save us from sin and give us eternal life. John 3:16

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit empowers believers in Christ and convicts the world of sin. Romans 8:11; John 16:7,8; John 16:13

Baptism is a public, symbolic declaration of new life in Christ. Romans 6:4; Acts 2:41; Matthew 3:16-17

The Church

The universal church is a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head. Colossians 1:18; Romans 12:4,5; 1 Corinthians 12:13.   God laid upon the church the primary task of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. Matthew 28:19

Christ’s Return

Jesus Christ will return. Only God, the Father knows the time of his appearing. Believers live with expectancy, and hope, carrying out the mission of the Church. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Hebrews 9:28  1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Hebrews 9:28
